ReMake Privacy statement

At ReMake, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients, prospective clients and wider network. We respect your privacy and we promise to:

  • Use your personal information only to fulfill our contract with you or to provide you with the information you have requested or have agreed to receive.

  • Put in place appropriate security measures to keep your data safe and secure and process it in a manner that follows your wishes.

  • Assist you to change your mind at any time about the communications you have opted in to receive.

Your Personal Data

ReMake will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you for which does not include any special types of information. This does however include details such as name, address, email and phone number.

Why we need it

We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with Entertainment Marketing services in line with our overall contract. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

We gather your personal data through the following ways:

We use this data to set up finance, administration and contact information so we can fulfill our contract with you.

Google and tumblr Analytics
When someone visits www.thinkjam.com we use a third-party service, Google and tumblr Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone (see our cookies policy).

Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organizations and businesses. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Surveys
From time to time, we will conduct surveys to collect research information for a number of purposes, including publishing industry reports, launching press articles and white papers, as well as educating internal teams. We may collect personal information including email addresses, to enable us to contact you at a later date, this may include contacting you to request permission to include any additional contributions to published content. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

What we do with it

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

How long we keep it

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What we would also like to do with it

We would however like to use your name and email address to inform you of new products, services or industry news. You will be asked if you would like to opt into these communications. What are your rights?

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold or If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
